Self- Righteous Service
There has been a lot of discussion about what some call ascension, a great awakening, rapture or other types of names along these lines. While it is good that humanity is waking up from the false reality we have been fed for far too long, there is a concern that much of the ego programming we have received from the time we were little will work to sabotage an ascension of consciousness.
Self Righteous Gurus?
We have seen similar issues in religions around the world where self righteousness is a common place practice to chastise and ridicule those who fall short of the narratives we are to accept. We can hear others say things like, “what did you do to cause this? God must be really mad at you”, or “you must have deserved it”. Then there are the more subtle attacks where some will guilt others or belittle them with comparisons. “My vibration is high enough that that is not a problem for me”, or “you obviously need to do some inner work because your perspective is of a lower understanding”, “you obviously just woke up because you should know this by now”, “that is not the way to do it because this means you are relying on your physical reality too much”, or “by seeing that perspective you are just practicing duality and I am above that”.
Rejecting Those Who are Seeking?
Then there are those who have learned a lesson being connected to someone or something that turned out to be negative. Now, they reject others, yet they themselves also had to break free from a false light, being fooled by someone or falling for false information as true. Instead of sharing their own moments of realization, they reject that person and lose the opportunity to share clarity because they themselves had to come to that as well. Isn’t that how those who came to serve should serve by example? From the earth perspective there are so many layers to who and how everyone is sharing information. It is so easy to see someone as genuine until it becomes obvious that they are not. Shaming or rejecting someone for watching a video or talking to someone is a form of censorship that demands a following mentality. Instead, offering clarity or gently suggesting your own concern allows you to offer food for thought. Otherwise, you may just pass up on someone who could have been a true ally. We are all searching for the truth and we will need to take in information in before we can see if it is worthy of our continued support. Earth is so dense and honestly, many of us do not trust much of anything anymore because we have been burned by half truths and those who masqueraded as positive, and those who simply fail to keep integrity. Earth is a mess and it is easy to get misguided. It has happened to even the most intelligent and well meaning of us. It does not mean we are negative or that we cannot be trusted. Be careful in judging others who are also trying to find truth and those who are truly well meaning. Instead of judging them for not having the correct discernment, focus on your own discernment to see how to enlighten them. This is what service means.
A Soul of Service Means You Serve
Now, with the ascension and so much discussion on this topic, we see a surge of these types of tactics being used on those just waking up or those who are seeking answers from many perspectives and many types of backgrounds. This self-righteous stance is a dangerous slippery slope into regression. The whole idea is to grow your own soul and help others. When has help ever come in belittlement and condescending judgment? If you are really a soul who came here to help, then their perspective should be just as important as yours because you are here to serve them. We all must go through a learning process. If you shut down their learning path, you can damage them. Instead, share clarity from your perspective and allow them to internalize this as data where your concerns are genuine. It will serve them. Judgmental tactics and arrogance is a clear sign that you do not get it and you are still participating in the ego of predator verses prey. Predators always seek to have or gain more power in the moment over others. When we talk about unity, it is only as good as the love and kindness that is shown. Otherwise, unity is based in abuse, control, self-righteousness and superiority. We have seen time and time again how this has played out for humanity. Remember when Protestants and Catholics tortured and killed each other over dogma and the politics of WWII? Unifying people under ego driven power will always lead to dark ends and a type of unity that is riddled with abuse and manipulation. It creates followers instead of independent critical thinkers who are compassionate and caring and not self-righteous. The alternative media, awakened communities and spiritual groups will be failing if they allow self-righteousness to infiltrate and dominate their movements. Be kind. Remember you are here to serve others and not to elevate yourself. If you are a soul that came to help, then this should be your focus. It is in serving others that we truly ascend ourselves. Do not try to fit others into your superior version of ascension. Then, you do not ascend yourself.
Humility
Humility is absolutely essential to those who serve. Without it, you are merely serving chaos and practicing self righteousness and will miss out on opportunities in service. You will also miss out on the unity that can come from seeing those you serve as part of yourself and ultimately as one.
