Letting Go of Darkness

There are those who thrive on darkness. They enjoy the excitement and the power. Chaos is their symphony and life is a game.  However, there is a growth shift in the human population at present. This shift is a realization that as a community, we can take personal responsibility and begin to embrace the positive aspects of life. Humanity is at an exciting time in history. Those who are focusing on the negative will be consumed by the negativity and those who are refocusing their efforts on possibilities will begin to understand more of whom they are and that we are all connected.

This means that humanity is beginning to see past the stereotypes, the facade of politics, the greed, and the uncaring attitude towards others. The color of skin, cultural differences, religions, and status are losing their separation power. People are awakening to their conscious minds. The auto pilot of unconsciousness is lifting and humanity is seeking a better life for our world. The boxes of labels, schools of thought, and superstitions are becoming transparent.

There will be those who choose not to be part of this growth process and it is their choice. However, there are those who are searching for this awakening and desire for maturing. This means that we are on the tipping point of a leap in history. This is a time where we can move into a more mature, kind world, or we can go back to sleep and allow this opportunity to pass and allow those who are negative to define humanity.

The great philosophers and humanitarians of the past would be truly delighted at the progress in spirit of some of humanity. There is a desire to stop practicing destructive behaviors and move into a place where we recognize the blessings of this world and treat them as a sacred place in all of our lives.  Despite the push of hate between some groups, there emerge those who are expressing love and kindness.

No doubt, the Jews and the German who experienced Auschwitz may have seen the world ending for them and thought that the world was doomed, but Hitler was removed from power. The Christians that were fed to lions in Rome must have believed that humanity had stooped to its darkest level. The citizens of Japan who were stuck in the middle of a war may have believed that when Hiroshima was bombed that it was the end of the world. Africans and those who have been sold into slavery and treated as if they were objects must have felt that humanity was barbaric, immature, and cruel. However, life did go on and those that survived outside of these events continued to contribute to humanity. They should serve as lessons that we should never repeat.

In modern times, we have received warnings that it was the time to change our ways. The gulf oil spill, the nuclear disasters of Japan, Chernobyl and Three Mile Island, the Great Garbage Patch, the mass bird and fish deaths, the disappearing fish, the famines, the genocides, the biological manipulation of food, the religious wars, and the failing political and monetary systems have all served to awaken many. Some have paid attention and have begun an awakening, while others have chosen to stay asleep. Some who have been on the operating side of these events are there waiting for their next step. We must usher in a way for them to come and be part of our solution and part of humanity. They are our brothers and sisters of humanity and love is their answer.

For those who choose darkness, there is a need that they have that is at the spirit level. Fear, power, self preservation, entitlement, greed, and hate can all be cured by love. Those who have wronged humanity, promoted harm, or have just been going along with practices that are not altruistic should know that love is for them as well. They too should be allowed to come into the fold and seek asylum and restitute their actions to help heal humanity and the planet. Those of oil, nuclear, chemical, poisons, the greedy, groups who have caused violence and hatred, and oligarchy groups are all part of humanity. Much like an injured part of the body, they need to be attended and healed. As long as we judge and send them hate, they will not heal. Instead, if like a seed, these words make their way into the hearts of those who know them and they begin to build a bridge then humanity can heal and begin to work together for our future. The time for sides and opposing teams has grown short and the seperation mentality is not for our future. We are all connected and what we do has an effect on humanity; all of God's creation. For those that are not capable of turning from the darkness, it will only mean that it is time for them to go back into the potter's fire to be remade. This message is for those who have some decency in them and that can still be part of humanity. It is for those who can still make the choice to be part of the light. The psychopaths who have failed to serve others and refuse restitution should be the ones that must be brought into the light by accountablity.

Those who are bent on naming all of those have failed us and calling for a lynching may miss the opportunity to take that energy and spend it on bringing in the solution. We must take personal responsibility and become independent of needing things that are harmful to people, animals, and the earth. Those who cannot come to peace will be dealt with by the hands of karma and their own doing, and we should focus on repairing and bringing in a better world. When we are independent of dependancy, then we will be free from the ability of the dark ones to control us. We must do this together in order to succeed.

Just as a parent would not destroy their child that gets lost, then so too should we be the parent that brings in the better way that the ones who still have decency left in them can also choose to follow. Kindness, gentleness, respect for life, recognition of the sanctity of life is what we should be ushering into our reality. So much time has been sent on fear, hate, and control. It is time, humanity, time to let go of darkness, empower those who have failed, but are willing and embrace the love that the Creator has endowed us all with, if we just stop to know it. We will not succeed if only a few stand in love, but we must come together in love and recognize that we are ready to let go of darkness.
